What would you do:

We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support bookkeeping including organising payroll and staff expenses.
  • Onboarding and offboarding staff.
  • Sending contracts to employees and clients.
  • Creating MS Word and MS Excel reports.
  • Arranging travel itineraries for the team.
  • Managing correspondence by email and phone.
  • Ordering and managing office supplies.
  • Take meeting notes.
  • Assist colleagues where necessary, including occasionally testing software as a user.

Required skills & experience:

You will have:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be technically competent and able to use a range of tools and software packages to fulfil your role.

You may have:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
  • BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred.
  • Background knowledge of HR.

Intern

What would you do:

As an intern at HY TECH you will join as a member of our development team writing code for real applications in industry. When you first join as an intern, you will be paired with other developers to help introduce you to writing excellent code for real applications – this means that through learning, your code will be in an application ready to be deployed very early on. We’re committed to build your skillset and give you the confidence and ability to write great code with our agile team – setting your career in software development up to grow with us.

Your responsibilities will include:

You’ll be joining as part of the core development team, helping to spec, develop and deploy software. Whilst you will always be given the help and guidance needed to learn these skills, we feel the best way to learn is to get stuck in so you won’t be assigned to low priority projects, you’ll be in working with the rest of the team.

You’ll occasionally need to liaise with clients to help understand requirements or to discuss any issues or feedback on deployed updates.

You’ll be writing code in PHP (Laravel and occasionally other frameworks), Javascript (React, Node.js, and other tools, libraries and frameworks), HTML, SCSS and more. All of which you’ll learn with us.

Required skills & experience:

  • An on-going degree in computer science or computing with high module grades and high predicted grades

AI/Data Engineer

What would you do:

Currently, HY TECH has open AI/Data Engineer position which could bring you an opportunity to join a growing AI team.

.NET Application Developer

What would you do:

We are currently seeking for a .NET developer to help us build a cross-platform (MacOS and Windows) application.

Your responsibilities will include:

We are working on a project which is a unique opportunity to be a part of building the intelligent, automated, cloud-native networks needed to run today’s music industry. You will be working with some of the leading experts in the field of big data and cloud technology in the music industry, with fresh and brave ideas aiming to fix the broken legacy pipelines between music users and creators.

The whole project has a variety of stacks and technologies, but for building on-premise applications and services we chose .NET 5 for its cross-platform capabilities. These applications will run client-side, so a wide variety of problems will have to be solved: from smooth installation to robust auto-update.

Required skills & experience:

  • 3+ years of working experience with C# and desktop application development.
  • Knowledge of standard ASP.NET Core stack (would be a big advantage).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and constructively.
  • Familiarity with the whole development lifecycle – analysis, CI/CD, testing, etc.

Software Developer

What would you do:

We’re looking for an experienced software developer to join our team. You’ll be working on large-scale, often cloud-based, business-critical applications in Laravel, Javascript and many other tools and languages when the need arises.

HY TECH develops software for companies in a wide range of industries. Our focus is on business-critical software so our agile team is built up of engineers that love to build excellent code. We are currently going through a growth period with an increased demand for large-scale projects and we need to build our team with more exceptional developers.

Your responsibilities will include:

You’ll be responsible for supporting and building a range of business applications including internal business management tools, SaaS products, and communications tools. Our stack is predominantly LEMP (LAMP but with nGinx), PHP (often Laravel), Javascript, (Vue, React/React Native). However, this stack is forever changing and you’ll be given opportunities to learn.
